How to Change the Battery in Your Nissan Key Fobs

Remote Lockout

You can also try to reset the system by pressing your lock or unlock button several times in succession. You might hear a chime depending on the vehicle you have when you have successfully reset your system. Certain automakers have a support line that you can call to seek help (such as GM's OnStar, Mercedes-Benz Mbrace or Hyundai Blue Link).
Nissan Intelligent Key Fobs have some smart features that can prevent you from being locked out. For instance, your vehicle's sensor system will detect whether your fob is in the trunk or in the cabin of your car. It will send an alert audio and a vibration to your fob, letting you be aware that it was left in the vehicle.
Some models come with a real key blade that you can use in the event that the fob battery dies or something else goes wrong.
